Environmental Compliance

The European Union has adopted a new directive, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, which will restrict the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic products: including lead (Pb), mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and certain halide-containing flame retardants. The directive applies to all electrical and electronic products, their component parts that are placed on the market after July 1, 2006.

rohsTechNexion Ltd. is committed to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the restriction of hazardous substances in electronic products. The RoHS Directive specifies that an electronic product or component may not contain a listed substance except as specifically provided in the directive.

In order to comply with the RoHS Directive as early as possible, TechNexion has developed a lead free transition strategy to offer lead free qualified products as our first step. We are pleased to announce shipping lead free products will start January 1, 2006.

TechNexion is committed to provide the best products to meet our customers’ requirements and lead free transition that will not affect the quality and reliability of our products. For more specific information on this lead free transition or further details on TechNexion's actions of RoHS Directive, please contact your local distributor or sales representative.
